Vietnamese major was run in September 2011 and now has graduates for seven years in a row, aiming at cultivating versatile professionals with solid abilities in translation and interpretation of Vietnamese, with virtue and ability and international vision. This major adopts the “3+1” international cooperative education model, that is, in the first, third and fourth academic years, students will study basic Vietnamese courses, public courses and professional modules course at the Yunnan Agricultural University. In the second academic year, students will study in Vietnam for one year and learn Vietnamese related courses. Currently, Yunnan Agricultural University has signed educational cooperation and exchange agreements with Hanoi University and Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry.
